Installation

How We Install Tile

We level the subfloor with self-leveling underlayment, set every tile with polymer-modified thinset, and seal grout with a 15-year color-sealer. Showers get a Schluter or RedGard waterproofing membrane standard.

Care & Maintenance

Keep Your Floors Looking New

Sweep, mop with pH-neutral cleaner, and re-seal grout lines every 2–3 years for an as-new look. Avoid bleach and ammonia on natural stone.

“They quoted us on a Tuesday and installed our entire downstairs in engineered wood by Friday. The crew left the house cleaner than they found it. Pricing beat the two other quotes I had by a wide margin.”

“Two big dogs and three kids - and the SmartStrand carpet from Floors To You still looks brand new a year later. Worth every penny. The installers were on time both days and walked the install with me before they left.”

Tile Questions OKC Homeowners Ask

How long does a tile install take? +

A typical OKC bathroom tile install is 2–3 days, including subfloor prep, tile-set, grout cure, and sealer. Larger kitchens or showers run 4–6 days.

Porcelain or ceramic tile - what is the difference? +

Porcelain is fired denser and absorbs less than 0.5% water - making it the better choice for showers, exteriors, and high-traffic floors. Ceramic is lighter on the budget for wall tile and low-traffic baths.

Can you install heated tile floors? +

Yes. We install Schluter DITRA-HEAT and WarmlyYours under-tile radiant heat for OKC bathrooms, mudrooms, and kitchens.
